8.5.2023 Daily Stock Portfolio performance
Today on 8th May 2023 Indian stock market has moved up, #nifty has jumped +195 points (+1.08%) and closed at 18,264. #midcap100 has jumped +327 points (1.02%) and closed at 32,476. #smallcap has jumped +91 points (+0.94%) and closed at 9,820. And stock portfolio has moved up ₹24,176 (+1.04%) and now latest value of stock portfolio has climbed 23.50 lakhs comfortably, it's now at ₹23,52,551.
Sometimes it feels like I am not having stock portfolio but having Indian cricket team. because everyday it's happening that suddenly one stock start moving up and single handedly pulls the portfolio, just like one player comes out to play and change the game in cricket. Today it was #marico who said it's my day today, you all sit back and I will drive, its moved up +7.45% after good q4 numbers and along with that #bajajfinance also moved up +4.20%, I personally think that Bajaj finance is in hurry to reclaim the levels of ₹8,000 and that's the only reason it's flying after blockbuster Q4 numbers and rest of the stocks were up more of less around 1%. The only stock that said I am on leave is #bdl (#bharatdynamics ) with minor down move of 0.48% . But it's ok BDL moves on its own terms against the tides mostly so it's indeed defensive stock of the portfolio.
Now the thing to note down here is, we did it again. The stock portfolio has again made all time high much before the overall markets, from the recent lows of March 2022 markets (nifty) has jumped 9% and in that same time our portfolio has moved more than 11%😃. One more thing we did exited #britannia and the value of that was around ₹87,000 so add that then it has convincingly made ALL TIME HIGH.
About markets, markets are moving up as expected and that's the only thing we wanted. Actually I have already told you that when stock markets start moving up it wins hearts. So enjoy the journey. 😃
