Today Indian stock market has fallen, #nifty has moved down -91 points (-0.49%) and closed at 18,634. #midcap100 has moved down -189 points (-0.55%) and closed at 34,200. #smallcap has moved down -100 points (-0.95%) and closed at 10,455. And stock portfolio has fallen ₹17,083 (-0.69%) and now latest value of portfolio is at 24,69,840.

Today only few stocks were able to close in green and rest were all red. The stocks that managed to stay in green includes names like #hdfcbank and #reliance.

Today, again RBI has not changed interest rates and that's big positive and still stock markets has fallen. it's common, it's nature of market to off load the excess baggage and then start moving up, we have seen so many times that good triggers being sold off and then after few days markets silently start climbing levels.

So it's ok. being investor we have taken "time" by our side and hence just relax and wait for the silent move. That's it.

Today on 7.6.2023 Indian #stockmarket has moved up. #nifty has moved up +127 points (+0.68%) and closed at 18,726. #midcap100 has moved up +354 (+1.04%) and closed at 34,390. #smallcap has moved up +140 points (+1.35%) and closed at 10,555. And stock portfolio has remained flat with weakness of just ₹1551 (-0.06%) and now latest market value of portfolio is at ₹24,86,335.

Today stock portfolio has been pulled up by #icicilombard #marico #tcs #titan and #reliance but went wasted by the down move of #bdl (#bharatdynamics ). BDL alone has dragged portfolio around ₹11,819 and still overall portfolio is down just ₹1,551 means the other stocks has offsets the impact of BDL down move. And about BDL it's has taken a huge jump in last few days and hence it was essential for it to take a breather so it's ok.

So, it's all right with markets, it's moving up steadily and most of the stocks in the portfolio are market leaders of their respective fields and hence they are bound to move up steadily too. so no need to take unnecessary risk-enjoy the upmove. That's it 😃.

It's strange, today small cap has moved up more than 1% and still it's far away from the all time high of 12000 points, and now catching up the main steam market and trying to climb up. The peculiar quality of small cap stocks is, it's can not move up beyond a certain limit because the most influential player in the small cap stocks is mutual funds and no small cap fund will be coming up for buying small cap stocks at high valuation and hence upside is always restricted in small cap stocks. And in bad times small cap stocks has no buyers so that's what reflecting in markets right now.

Nifty has taken rest today and midcap and smallcap has continued their upward journey. #nifty has moved down -99 points (-0.53%) and closed at 18,534. #midcap100 has moved up +126 points (+0.37%) and closed at 33,761. #smallcap has moved up +103 points (+1.03%) and closed at 10166. And stock portfolio has moved up ₹12,491 and now latest value of portfolio is risen to ₹24,34,726.

Today stock portfolio is strongly pulled up by the defense stock #bdl (#bharatdynamics ) with upmove of +4.85% along with BDL other stocks that pulled up the portfolio includes stocks like #namindia and #asianpaints. One the other side stocks that dragged down the portfolio includes heavy weights like #reliance and #hdfcbank and #vipindustries .

One more stock has doubled today. it's #bdl again, has given more than 100% return from the latest holding price, and from the first purchase price it's more than 3x return.

About markets, it's moving up at regular intervals and that's all what we wanted, so it's all ok right now😃.

Today on 25.5.2023 stock market closed positive. #nifty has moved up +35 points (+0.20%) and closed at 18,324. #midcap100 has moved up +125 (+0.38%) and closed at 33,157. #smallcap has moved up +8 points (+0.09%) and closed at almost same level of yesterday. And stock portfolio has moved down ₹18,038 (-0.76%) and now latest value of stock portfolio is remained at ₹23,53,972.

Today portfolio is pulled by so many players like #recltd #bajajfinance #asianpaints and so on, but the portfolio is completely dragged down single handedly by none other than #bdl with down move of more than 5%. Today portfolio is dragged ₹20,778 by BDL alone. means the total down move is because of BDL and if we deduct than the portfolio is almost flat as today's total fall is ₹18,038 and BDL fall is ₹20,778.

Any way, we have seen the results of BDL and it's good. actually the March quarter performance is significantly better that December quarter but still the stock has been hammered 5%. We are clearly of the opinion that stock has just given knee jerk reaction of the some what weak operating performance on q on q basis. But company is repeatedly saying that they are facing execution problems due to Russia Ukraine war and hence comparision with last fiscal is not the right parameter for evaluating the companies performance as the war has been on since last February 2022 and that has impacted the numbers and war is not an all time task and once the war is over the stock will up again. And about the price fall, it's a knee jerk reaction and most likely stock will be stabilize tomorrow and if it keep falling then it's a good buy. And remember buying good company in bad time can give good returns.

One more thing, now you know that we have concentrated portfolio and the highest weightage is given to #bdl and BDL is down 5% and still the portfolio is down less than 1% and this is power of good portfolios where wild moves in any stocks will not disturb you. Instead with time you will become strong and stubborn and this volatility won't break you.

Today #nifty moved down -62 points (-0.34%) and closed at 18,285. #midcap100 moved up +69 points (+0.21%) and closed at 33031. #smallcap has again remained flat with upside move of only +1 points (+0.02%) and closed at 9,949. Today #stockportfolio moved down ₹-7,656 (-0.32%) and now latest value of portfolio is at ₹ 23,71,728.

Today stock portfolio is attempted to be pulled up by #titan #marico #recltd and portfolio is dragged by heavy weights #hdfcbank #bdl #vipindustries and as most of the heavy weights were dragging and hence portfolio went down.

About markets, it's again not fallen heavily today despite all the negatives clues, instead it's slowly and steadily moving up like the elephant 🐘. And as long as markets keep moving up at regular intervals we are not at all bothered about the few days where we will be having flat move or little bit down move in portfolio.

By the way, I think investing is very easy way to build wealth. let me explain with small example. now if we count - there are around 220 trading sessions and out of that lets say 74 days markets move down and then 74 days markets move up (making it equal - no profit no loss) and then there will be 72 days with pure upmove and if everyday our portfolio moves ₹10,000 up then also it would be up ₹7,20,000 per year without doing anything, and with good companies this daily ₹10,000 can be ₹15,000 or ₹20,000 and then profits will be much higher with very less stress.

Today is 22nd and the results of BDL is scheduled on 25th and the way BDL has started moving up - there are very high chance that result of BDL is likely to be good.

About overall markets, despite of everything is being told - markets are simply not listening to the noises and keep moving up like elephant 🐘 slowly and steadily.

Today portfolio is dragged down by heavy weight stock #bdl (#bharatdynamics ), it seems that the stock is in mood of taking rest after hitting fresh high of ₹1104. And on the other side, the stocks that tried to pull the portfolio were #tcs and #sbicards .

Anyway, it's ok. If we deduct the #bdl part (- ₹6,190) from today's fall then the weakness is insignificant and this is normal scenario with concentrated portfolios that some of the winners gone for vacation for some time and then you have to wait for them to come back and perform.

And stock portfolio is continuously moving up and making new high almost everyday. Tpday again stock portfolio moved up + ₹9,473 (+0.40%) and now its latest market value is almost touching the mark of 24 lakhs, to be precise the market value of portfolio right now is ₹23,91,172.

Today the stock portfolio has been pulled strongly by under weight stocks like #sbicards #recltd and #namindia while heavy weight stocks remained flat.

Now about the markets, Karnataka election has gone unnoticed by stock market but it is worth mentioning that "Congress" has connected well with Karnataka voters and got victory in elections. And I think the connect point is - the series of events that has happened with Rahul Gandhi; that's it nothing more needed to say, as the public is very intelligent and public is always right too. Anyway coming back to markets, it's moving up and as long as it keeps moving up we have all the reasons to smile. That's it😃.

Stock Portfolio moved up +₹15,825 (+0.67%) and now latest market value of portfolio has increased to ₹23,77,703.

Today, portfolio has been pulled by #sbicards with +5.02% upmove and #asianpaints with upmove of more than +3.23% and the remaining stocks were up around 1%. The only stocks that did not joined the party were #tcs and #reliance that remained flat with negative bias.

Now, about the markets - its rising and portfolio is shining and being investor we wanted only that thing so it's feeling good watching portfolio moving up. That's it.

Stock portfolio has moved up ₹10,013 (+0.43%) and now latest value of stock portfolio is ₹23,61,889.

Today stock portfolio is pulled up by #vipindustries and #bajajfinance . We already had discussed vip industry on the back of its quarterly and yearly numbers and today it's started moving up. This happens because market has collective wisdom and it knows how to read numbers and what should be the price level so if something is going wrong due to any reason it would be corrected asap and hence the price did not fall and now it's moved up.

Today portfolio dragged down a little by #namindia but I am having big expectation from the stock and the reason is sebi is thinking to add incentivised fees structure (expense ratio) for mutual funds and that can re rate the company.

About markets, its moving up steadily and both fii and dii are buying in the markets and that's results into upticks in portfolio value. We are moving up everyday making new high every day😃.

Today on 9th May 2023, stock market has remained flat, #nifty has gone no where and closed only +1 point up @ 18,265. #midcap100 has moved only +12 points (+0.04%) and closed at 32,488. #smallcap has moved -5 points (-0.05%) and closed at 9,815. And stock portfolio too has remained almost flat with price movement of just - ₹ 1020 (-0.04%) and now latest market value of stock portfolio is at ₹23,51,840.

Today portfolio is pulled by #namindia #icicilombard #marico #tcs and dragged down by #bajajfinance . And #vipindustries has remained flat.

Today one good thing has happened so I thought let's share it. Yesterday VIP industry has declared its quarterly and year end numbers and the company has posted loss in the current quarter and still today it's stock price has not fallen. why? I think the main reason is in the numbers, 1st the loss is because of exceptional event of "fire incident in Bangladesh unit" and 2nd on the year on year basis the company has posted good numbers, it's profitable in year on year basis. Means loss in quarterly basis but profitable in yearly basis. Now here, the fundamental rule has worked. "Buy the good company in the bad time" and hence despite of negative numbers stock has not fallen.

About markets, although it has remained flat today, it's moving up slowly and steadily and we are happy watching our portfolio growing.

Today on 8th May 2023 Indian stock market has moved up, #nifty has jumped +195 points (+1.08%) and closed at 18,264. #midcap100 has jumped +327 points (1.02%) and closed at 32,476. #smallcap has jumped +91 points (+0.94%) and closed at 9,820. And stock portfolio has moved up ₹24,176 (+1.04%) and now latest value of stock portfolio has climbed 23.50 lakhs comfortably, it's now at ₹23,52,551.

Sometimes it feels like I am not having stock portfolio but having Indian cricket team. because everyday it's happening that suddenly one stock start moving up and single handedly pulls the portfolio, just like one player comes out to play and change the game in cricket. Today it was #marico who said it's my day today, you all sit back and I will drive, its moved up +7.45% after good q4 numbers and along with that #bajajfinance also moved up +4.20%, I personally think that Bajaj finance is in hurry to reclaim the levels of ₹8,000 and that's the only reason it's flying after blockbuster Q4 numbers and rest of the stocks were up more of less around 1%. The only stock that said I am on leave is #bdl (#bharatdynamics ) with minor down move of 0.48% . But it's ok BDL moves on its own terms against the tides mostly so it's indeed defensive stock of the portfolio.

Now the thing to note down here is, we did it again. The stock portfolio has again made all time high much before the overall markets, from the recent lows of March 2022 markets (nifty) has jumped 9% and in that same time our portfolio has moved more than 11%😃. One more thing we did exited #britannia and the value of that was around ₹87,000 so add that then it has convincingly made ALL TIME HIGH.

About markets, markets are moving up as expected and that's the only thing we wanted. Actually I have already told you that when stock markets start moving up it wins hearts. So enjoy the journey. 😃

Stock portfolio has moved down ₹10,524 (-0.45%) and now latest value of portfolio is at ₹23,28,473.

Today it has #titan who attempted to pull the portfolio with upmove of 2.34% along with #asianpaints (+1.01%) but it failed to pull the portfolio in green but as #hdfcbank seen downmove of more than 5% (-5.91) along with #recltd (-3.36%) and #bdl (#bharatdynamics ) remain weak (-2.16%).

About stock market, especially about #hdfcbank - Today it fell because of MSCI rebalancing, where its likely to see outflow of around 1500 crores. But the thing I was wondering is, the company with market cap of more than 15 lakh crore (combined entity) is down 5% on just news of outflow of 1500 crores. Strange isn't it🤔.

About last night us fed action, it again took the dovish stand and increased repo rate by 25 basis points. We were of the opinion that looking at the us banking crisis fed may change its stance but it didn't. But it's ok again us fed emphasis is only on "price stability" and fed is committed to bring "price stability" and markets love words like stability and certainty and hence market moved up or likely to move up in coming days.

But it's ok when your heavy weight stock single handedly decide to pull the market then it changes the color of Portfolio from red to green.

And, last but not the least, this is the strength of stock market investing. after so many monotonous trading sessions of side ways move when it start walking Omni directional (ok the upside) then it wins heart. It keeps moving up so fast that you only need 20 sessions out of 220 sessions of the year to get fabulous returns in your stock portfolio. That's it.

Today #nifty has closed with weakness of 34 points (-0.20%) at 16,977. #midcap100 closed with weakness of 101 points (-0.35%) at 29,324. #smallcap closed with weakness of 80 points (-0.91%) at 8,701. And stock Portfolio has remained flat with gains of only ₹1264 (+0.06%) and latest value now is ₹21,22,074.

Today it's all the way heavy weights game, #hdfcbank and #relianceindustry pulled the portfolio and #bajajfinance dragged the portfolio and all the other stocks remained flat.

Today on 27.3.2023 stock market has behaved abruptly. Benchmark index #nifty has closed positive 40 points up (0.24%) at 16,985 but #midcap and #smallcap closed with weakness. #midcap closed 138 down (-0.47%) at 29,426. #smallcap closed 142 points down (-1.59%) at 8,781. And Stock portfolio has remained flat with Mark to market loss of only ₹5,171 (-0.24%) and now latest value of portfolio is at ₹21,18,478.

Today #relianceindustry has pulled the market and #bajajfinance has dragged the portfolio down and hence all in all portfolio remained flat with little loss.

Today two heavyweights #bajajfinance and #reliance dragged the portfolio nd hence portfolio has fallen a bit more than indices but it's concentrated portfolio and hence it's ok.

Today on 9th March 2023, stock market has fallen a bit. #Nifty has fallen 164 points (-0.93%) and closed at 17,589, #midcap has fallen 170 points (-055%) and closed at 30,948, #smallcap has fallen 51 points (-.54%) and closed at 9,410. and Stock portfolio has fallen ₹16,725 (-0.75%) and final holding value was ₹22,00,303.

Today, stock portfolio was dragged down by heavy weight stocks #relianceindustry #bajajfinance #tcs #titan etc and the stocks like #sbicards and #recltd was up but we are under weight in both of the stocks and hence portfolio was down today.

One more thing, although nifty has fallen a bit today it's ok it's nature of stock market, it couldn't be up and up only everyday. so it's ok. The good thing, as of now is - nifty is still bullish and being investor we have patience to hold on to reap the fruits of good returns. That's it.

Today on 8th March 2023, after getting negative opening Indian indices have shown inherent strength and closed flat to positive at the end of trading session. Today major indices like #nifty closed positive 42 points (+0.24%), #midcap100 closed up 159 points (+0.51%), #smallcap closed up 20 points (+021%) and still stock portfolio closed flat to negative ₹4,623 (-0.21%) at ₹22,16,710.

Today, #recltd was running fast and closed up 2.63% but other stocks were flat including #tcs #reliance #namindia #bdl #hdfcbank #icicilombard but the stock portfolio was dragged down by heavy weight #bajajfinance , it was down -2.25% and #Marico was ex dividend so it's was showing down today.

By the way it's ok. only Bajaj finance was down a bit and the stocks like Bajaj finance - all banking and especially nbfcs become rockets when interest rates are falling. so relax. all is well.😃

This two are very lazy boys from stock portfolio but very clever too... in Hindi it's हुनहार पर आलसी . They will catch up and overtake in just few days it's their history. And this stock portfolio has history of making new high before nifty.
